Project Roleplay
Server Rules
These rules establish the minimum expectations for participating in the Project Roleplay community and city.
Community Conduct
Treat other members with basic respect. Harassment, discrimination, targeted hostility, threats, doxxing, or intentionally disruptive behavior are not permitted.
Disagreements should be handled calmly and through the proper support channels. Personal attacks and public arguments do not improve roleplay or resolve concerns.
Roleplay Standards
Remain in character while actively participating in a scene. Avoid breaking character unless a staff member directs you to do so or an immediate technical issue makes continuing impossible.
Roleplay should be reasonable, collaborative, and provide others an opportunity to respond. Winning a scene is never more important than creating a good experience.
Fair Play
Cheating, exploiting, duplicating items, abusing bugs, using unauthorized software, or intentionally gaining an unfair advantage is prohibited.
Report significant bugs instead of using them. Property or progress gained through an exploit may be removed regardless of who originally discovered it.
Characters & Information
Keep information separated between characters. Knowledge obtained outside the game, through streams, Discord, another character, or staff tools may not be used in character unless it was properly learned through roleplay.
Characters should have reasonable names, motivations, and behavior. Do not create characters solely to troll, disrupt scenes, transfer assets, or avoid consequences.
Crime & Conflict
Criminal and hostile roleplay must have purpose beyond creating chaos. Give scenes time to develop, value the lives of your character and others, and avoid forcing outcomes without meaningful interaction.
Do not repeatedly target the same player, group, business, or department for personal or out-of-character reasons.
Staff Direction
Follow reasonable staff instructions during an active situation. Staff decisions may be appealed through the appropriate support process, but they should not be argued in the middle of a scene or public channel.
Staff members are expected to follow the same community standards as everyone else. Concerns involving staff should be reported through a management support ticket.
Reporting Issues
Use the in-game bug command and designated Discord channels to report technical problems. Use support tickets for player reports, appeals, or concerns requiring private review.
When possible, include relevant clips, screenshots, timestamps, character names, and a clear description of what occurred. Do not provoke additional conflict to gather evidence.
Final Reminder
This page provides the general rules for Project Roleplay. Additional department, business, gang, event, or role-specific policies may also apply. Joining the community means agreeing to follow current published rules and reasonable staff direction.
